Sebi's Big Day

This past Sunday Sebastian had quite the day. At the 9 o'clock service of church he was dedicated to the Lord. Jose and I feel so blessed having Sebi in our lives...he is so happy and so healthy and we wanted his life to be blessed and prayed over. So, the pastor anointed him with oil and prayed for his life to be blessed. The church even gave him a special letter and his very own bible with his name in it. It was a very a special service for us. Grandma Ellen, Poppy Chambo, Auntie Jenni, Gavin, Colleen and Brett all attended the service. And that made it even more special to have them all there.
After that Grandma and Poppy took us out for breakfast. Then when we got home Mommy and Daddy took me in the pool for the 1st time. I love the pool! Daddy was splashing around and making me laugh so much. I was even kicking my legs in the pool. Daddy said when I get a little bigger I can teach him to swim. He..He..He.. :)
Whew...what a day. I slept very good that night.

Pot-Luck Pool Party

Since most of Mommie's teacher friends are off for the summer she decided it would be fun to host a Pot-Luck Pool Party at our house. Of course of all days it rained. But, we made the most of it. I was sooo impressed by the food that everyone brought. Our neighbor Denise made the cutest cupcakes ever! She put bathing suits made with frosting on teddy grahams to look like they were sunbathing on top of the cupcakes and not to mention they were...Yumm-o. Grandma Ellen even took time out of her day at work to stop by for a bit. There were lots of food, babies and chit-chat. We had a great time. After everyone left Mommie's friend Kerrie stayed with Joshie and we hung out in my crib. I kept trying to show them my belly button and Joshua kept raising his arms. Joshua and I are so silly together.

4 1/2 Months

At Sebastian's 4 month check up he weighed a whopping....19 lbs and almost 26" long. He had to get a shot in each leg but he did much better than the 1st time he had them. He was very brave this time. The doctor said we can start him on rice cereal then oatmeal then barley and after that fruits and veggies. We have started the rice cereal and he seems to like it. We still need to put his new high chair together but here are some pics of him in our 'temporary' high chair. Sebastian really likes being on our level at the table now. He feels like such a Big Boy. As you can see in the pics he has developed quite the personality....he is such a ham. :) Oh and one more thing...Seb rolled over for the 1st time this week too; from back to side to belly all by himself!

Auntie Colleen's Birthday Celebration

Last weekend we were invited to celebrate Colleen and her fiance Brett's Birthdays. We had a great time visiting with everyone and eating...of course. Sebastian was a little social butterfly. He was smiling as he was passed around to everyone including Janet; Colleen's mom. Janet was so good with him; she was busy taking pictures of everyone with a camera in one hand and Sebastian in the other. At the party there was a balloon that popped and Sebi got startled at 1st then he thought it was silly. Jose, Sebi and I had a great time at the Ratty's Residence. :)

Happy 4th of July!!

Since the 4th of July is on a Sunday this year Mommy and Daddy decided it would be a great day for my 1st day at church. I stayed awake the whole time while I sat on Mommy and Daddy's lap during the service. The patriotic music was so entertaining and afterward we checked out the awesome children's ministry area; it looks like so much fun! I can't wait to go again.

How do you like my hat?

My daily exercise

I love my exersaucer!! It is a great leg workout. When I hit the buttons it plays songs about colors, abc's and numbers too. It even plays rainforest music from different continents. I also love it because I am on the dog's level and I can see them so much better now. It is so much fun to bounce around; I feel like such a big boy in this thing. :)

Baby Storytime at the Library

What a fun morning at the library. I hung out with my friend Joshua and his Mommy~Kerrie. We sang nursery rhymes, songs, read books, and best of all got to play musical instruments and then they let us have free play on the floor. I can't wait to go next week. :)
