The Countdown till Sebi's arrival

Here I am at 38 & 39 weeks prego. I was still working up until Thurs. March 4th. Well, all that day I hadn't been feeling too well. And since it was my last day at work I wanted to make sure I had everything ready for my students. So, I stayed there until 5p.m. And when I got home that night Sebastian decided it was time for his big debut. I was having contractions all night and that next morning Sebastian arrived. I was glad I went into labor and Sebastian was ready to come out rather than my scheduled C-Section the following Wednesday. It was God's perfect timing.

Tea Party

Grandma Ellen, Aunt Jenni and Aunt Caroline thought I could use a little relaxation. So, they took me out to brunch at the cutest tea house. It was so wonderful I really needed some girl time and it was a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon before Sebi's big arrival! The tea house was so relaxing, the tea was incredible and the scones were amazing. I will definitely go back there. Thanks girls~XOXO

Rock Star Baby Shower

Jose truly went all out and planned the best baby shower ever! He thought of every detail and made it so special in honor of Baby Sebastian. The theme "Potty" Like a Rock Star was complete with a red carpet, ropes, posters and even Chachi was a door man who let everyone in. Jose also flew my Cousin Catie down from Massachussets which made me cry by the way. :) It was an amazing day that I will never forget. Sebastian is already so loved by all of our family and friends. We are so thankful for everyone taking the time to come and for all of their love and support during our pregnancy.Tuesday, January 26, 2010
Sebastian's Nursery

Jose and I have been busy finishing up Sebastian's Nursery. We did have lots of help too. Tio Danny and Tia Lourdes helped paint and put in the floor while Jose put up the chair rail. We had 2 artists come and paint an amazing tree mural complete with an owl and a racoon. Then, Grandma Ellen and I put up the scrapbook paper leaves on the tree. We had a blast as you can see in the pics. The racoon gave me the inspiration to finally find bedding! I ended up with a forest theme and it is too cute. Poppy Ken and Grandma Ellen even gave us a black 'S' for Christmas and we hung that off a branch. The last touch was the quote over Sebi's crib. Jose and I love going into Sebi's room it is now our favorite room in the house.

32-33 Weeks Prego

At my last Dr. appt Sebastian was about 3 lbs already! But the doc said he is right where he should be. Jose wanted to take some silly pictures so we hope you enjoy them; especially the air guitar one. I know...how cheesy. Sebastian has been moving a lot still and we are hoping that he turns a little bit more so that he is head down and ready for an "easy" delivery. Hey, I can hope cant' I? LOL
